Welcome!
Thank you so much for booking the Reiki 2 Course! I am looking forward to continuing this journey with you as we dive deeper into Reiki.
-
When
The Course will run from 11 am until 6 pm on both days.
-
Where
We will be learning from a beautiful space which is cradled in the soft arms of Mama Nature, on the edge of the South Downs National Park. This is easily accessed from Brighton (15 mins by rail), London Victoria or London Bridge or East Croydon (an hour or less), or Gatwick Airport for those flying in (30 mins). We are an easy, four minute walk from Cooksbridge station. If you’re planning to drive there is ample free parking on site.
ADDRESS:
Beechwood Hall
Beechwood Lane
Cooksbridge BN7 3QGPlease map your journey out beforehand being mindful of planned rail / road closures so you can arrive on time.

What to bring
Lunch for both days! There is not a place to buy lunch near the venue so please bring any food you’d like to have. We have a kitchen on site to heat anything up that you need to or to store anything in the fridge. No one else will be using the venue over our weekend together.
Notepad + pen
It’s best to wear very comfortable clothes with layers as our temperatures tend to fluctuate with so much energy. Big cozy socks are a plus. Bring a pen and notepad for any notes you want to take, but you will receive a 40-page Reiki 2 Manual with all of the information we will be covering over the weekend.

Wanting to stay the night?
Cooksbridge is just five minutes outside of lovely Lewes (by train or taxi), a charming medieval town surrounded by the South Downs and their wonderful walking trails, very close to Brighton and the sea. For those wanting to stay and traveling by train, I’d recommend looking in Lewes which has lots of cute Bed & Breakfasts, ample listings on Airbnb, and a Premier Inn. If you’re traveling by car, there’s a lovely pub near the venue called The Jolly Sportsman which students have stayed in and enjoyed dinner there. Also close by are Shepherd Huts and off-grid type cabins if you fancy being immersed in nature and making a retreat out of it.
If you fancy a trip to the sea, Seaford beach is only 10 minutes away on the train (or 15 by car) - you can get there by travelling to Bishopstone station from Lewes. If that sounds appealing, pack a swimsuit and towel! If you’re coming by car, the most beautiful beach is only a 20 minute drive away - it’s called Cuckmere Haven and is on the crest of the magical Seven Sisters.
Lewes has lots of cafes and restaurants. For lunch/brunch, I’d go to The Depot (by the station) or there is a great Vietnamese place called Pestle & Mortar (they’re only open until 4pm though). For dinner, Dill on Cliffe High Street is fab, or you might try The Rights of Man for tapas, Zorbas for Turkish, or Erawan for Thai.
How to Prepare
You will receive an attunement which will greatly increase the flow of Reiki energy. It is recommended to spend the week leading up the course bringing yourself into harmony and balance, as suggested for Reiki 1. I encourage you to do a little self-reflection and to come into alignment with your Higher Self as best you can. This can be done by journaling, meditating, and taking mindful walks in nature. Don't forget your self-treatments either :)
The attunements will jumpstart another detoxifying process so it’s best not to take too many in beforehand. Drink a little extra water for at least a few days leading up to the course, and try to cut down on caffeine, sugar, nicotine and alcohol - you will be finding your vibration rising even higher and easier for it.
Please have a look at the three Reiki symbols you'll be learning. Familiarise yourself and practice drawing them on paper to help you learn them by heart. You will be able to really feel their energies after your attunement, but memorising them beforehand will really give your practice a jumpstart!
